Epic Adventure by Byte Knight is an entirely new Adventure game built from the ground-up featuring 32 rooms / mazes with all-new items and enemies (see picture below). It’s kind of a mixture of Adventure and Lord of the Rings. The goal of the game is “the usual” – get the golden chalice back to your home castle. But first, you must kill the Dragon in order for the chalice to appear in one of three places – the Wizard’s Castle, the Dragon’s Castle, or the Troll’s Cave.

I found a way to make the game faster when the blocks are clearing. As usual, let me know if there’s any bugs, especially in the 2-player mode.

Frantic by SpiceWare is a game for Atari 2600/VCS inspired by Berzerk. Basically you have to kill everything that moves.

Changes:
* Added level III with randomized items.
* Level I is easier – two stabs to kill dragon, one to kill troll. No hawk or wizard (so my kids can beat the game!).
* Different title screen – I think the Evil Magician’s castle & gate looks cooler…
* Orc disappears after you kill the wizard, so you’re free to explore.
* Should work on Harmony cart now (untested).

Wickeycolumbus is working on a small game, which is currently named “Muncher”. You play as a yellow square and your goal is to “eat” the red squares while avoiding aliens.

I kind of like the black background, but I’ll play around with other colors. I’m not sure what else I can do with the gameplay, but I might go 4K to include a title screen and SaveKey support.

* enemies get stretched to double width at the fourth board
* the amount of time you can go fast decreases as you clear boards
* you get another life every four boards in games 1-4
