The Atari Jaguar is a home video game console released by Atari Corporation in 1993. Marketed as the first 64-bit console, it relies on a 13.3 MHz Motorola 68000 control CPU paired with two custom 26.6 MHz 32-bit RISC chips, Tom (graphics) and Jerry (audio), running over a 64-bit bus. It features 2 MB of RAM, 16-bit stereo sound, and outputs up to 800 x 576 resolution with 16.7 million colors using ROM cartridges.
