The Magnavox Odyssey² (launched in Europe as the Philips Videopac G7000) is a second-generation home video game console released in 1978. Powered by an Intel 8048 microcontroller running at 1.79 MHz with 64 bytes of RAM, it features a custom Intel 8244 audio/video chip outputting a 160 x 200 resolution with 8 colors. Its signature feature is a built-in membrane alphanumeric keyboard used for educational games and programming, alongside ROM cartridges and dual 8-way joysticks.
