The Nintendo 3DS is a dual-screen handheld console released by Nintendo in 2011. Powered by a dual-core ARM11 CPU (804 MHz) paired with a DMP PICA200 GPU, 128 MB FCRAM, and 6 MB VRAM, it features an autostereoscopic top screen (800 x 240 overall resolution, delivering 400 x 240 per eye for glasses-free 3D) alongside a lower 320 x 240 resistive touchscreen. The system includes an analog Circle Pad, motion/gyro sensors, physical backward compatibility with Nintendo DS cartridges, and dual outer cameras for capturing 3D photos.
