Jitter (23-10-2005) (A2600 Game)
seemo has updated his game"Jitter. Concept: There's a matrix of symbols, and you have to move the joystick or press fire, according to the current symbol (colored with red). If you do the right action, you'll skip to the next symbol in the matrix, until the matrix is over or an empty cell is encountered : when this happens, you get a score based on the length of the sequence you completed. Release notes:Hi all, this is my first NDS program, and it's just a"preview"of a handwriting recognition library I'm writing (using something like grafitti), it was only a few hours of programming, but I hope you like it: it's a library to recognize gestures done with the stylus, for now, only absolutes directions (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT), but adding others is easy... Gamers Galaxy PSP and NDS Coding Competition (misc)
Gamers Galaxy is holding a coding competition for the DS and PSP handheld system. Unfortunately the GP2X is not available yet so it will not be in this competition.The competition is for original Homebrew Games, Applications or Emulators for the PSP or DS system. The competition will close on the 22nd of November which provides plenty of time. Entries are to be submitted to Gamers Galaxy. Winners will be chosen by the public and not Gamers Galaxy staff. All entries will be placed on the forum boards on the 23rd of November and users will vote for their favourite entry. Any entries caught cheating in the voting process will be void.1st Prize: $100US worth of games from the Gamers Galaxy shop of your choice!
