PocketStation - News - PDRoms

The PocketStation is a miniature handheld console and Memory Card peripheral released by Sony in Japan in 1999. Powered by a 32-bit ARM7TDMI CPU running at 4.3 MHz with 2 KB of SRAM and 128 KB of flash storage, it features a monochrome 32 x 32 pixel LCD screen, a 5-button directional pad, and a built-in speaker. It plugs directly into a PlayStation Memory Card slot to download mini-games and extra features from compatible PS1 software, allowing portable gameplay on the go.
