Scavenger by David Ashley is a arcade/thinking game very much like Lode Runner. You've got to run around and collect objects while avoiding enemies. Some objects are buried and you've got to dig down to get at them. It's an addictive game and some of the levels are devilishly (cruelly) complicated to solve. Read more
Driar is a platform-game for the Nintendo Entertainment System/Famicom written by Stefan Adolfsson and David Eriksson. Rickard Nilsson helped out in early development. The game is designed for PAL (50Hz) systems, but works well on NTSC (60Hz) systems as well. The game and music will however play a bit faster on a NTSC system. Read more
SDL Asylum is a C port of the computer game Asylum, which was written by Andy Southgate in 1994 for the Acorn Archimedes and is now public domain. Retrobattle by Andreas Remar is made to look and feel like the classic arcade-style NES games, such as Ice Climber and Clu Clu Land. Not only are the sprites limited to three colors each, but the scoring, increasing difficulty, and setup of the game makes for a challenging arcade experience that mixes various oldschool concepts. Note that playing on Skill 1 is pretty boring compared to the havoc of Skill 8, so it may seem slow at first. Read more
