SquareEnix has disappointed fans again with another port of a SNES RPG, and someone found a way to make Q*Bert freak out. We wish the PS2 a happy birthday, and warn against contacting ET’s. We’ve got burning hot Pac Man lamps and new controllers for old systems in this episode of the Retro League.

qgit is a graphical user interface viewer for GIT repos. With qgit you will be able to browse revisions history, view patch content and changed files, graphically following different development branches.

Viewnior is a fast and simple image viewer for GNU/Linux by Siyan Panayotov. It supports animated .gif’s in fullscreen on your Pandora and many other formats.

SDLLopan is a classic remake of Linux Lopan (a Mahjong clone) by Dave Ashley. nop90 invested couple of days to get this ported to the Nintendo Switch. Like other Mahjongg games, you try to remove all the pieces. To remove pieces you must select a pair of pieces with the same drawing.

cpasjuste updated his port of pFBA (portable Final Burn Alpha) for the Nintendo Switch. FB Alpha is an Arcade and Console emulator.

Trolli Pinball is a pinball game with cult potential, allowing users in search of more than a classic pinball machine to enjoy themselves to the fullest. Level one’s Halloween World sees the introduction of the “Glotzer,” (Pop Eye) a horrifying fruit gum which – in place of a regular pinball – floats through a seemingly infinite area full of exciting detail and spectacular effects. Gathering enough “Dracula-Zähne, (Dracula teeth) “Fledermäuse,” (Bats) “Trolli-Burger” or “Saure Glühwürmchen” (Sour Glowworms) will help to ring the Trolli alarm and reach new high scores at breakneck speed. A game of gruesome fun leaving users hungry for more!

Mbrane is a game of stunning simplicity and elegant complexity. Harnessing the power of Sudoku, Mbrane transforms the puzzle into a multiplayer, deterministic strategy game of pure skill. Proliferate by Aven Labs is a strategy board game played by two people. The goal of the game is to as rapidly as possible expand your colony of digital cells. To do this you must position your cells strategically so that you can both attack your opponent and defend your own cells.
