Homebrew developer PHPnerd, StiffMeister & Lewishamilton from http://www.psp-hacks.nl come with an update from their own Easy Installer!

With this Easy Installer you have to choose if you have a PSP Fat or Slim & Lite and if you want 1.50 kernel or not! Iit copys all the files needed for the upgrate to 3.90 M33 at once to your PSP! Verry handy for people that are lazy or can’t get along with a PSP but still want to enjoy 3.90 M33.

PSP Dialer creates touchtone sounds for your phone, so it automaticly dials the selected number for you.

Changes:

– swapped the tones with clearer,louder,longer ones
as a result dialing takes longer though
– total records(and probably the limit) = 18 now
– added record editor(a very simple one) but it gets the job done.
– as a result names are now restricted to 20 charecters as a result.
– no more pc needed for editing numbers!

Here is a new version of PSP7800 the Atari 7800 console emulator!

Changes:

– Major speed improvements (> 60 fps at 222Mhz)
but limited at 50fps by default
– Auto-fire mode, press RTrigger+X to switch it on/off
useful for games such as space Xevious !
On given games, the auto fire can’t be stopped easily
(so you might have to disable it several times)
– It uses now only PSP GU for rendering
– IR keyboard support
(pretty useless, but don’t forget, i’m a shadok)
– Add several new hotkeys :
. settings such as fps, render mode, auto fire speed
can now be directly modified inside the emulator
(no need to enter in the settings menu)

PSPMud is a mud client for the psp, based on Danzel’s Peldet 0.8.

Here comes an important add on… enables you to use old 1.50 kernel things on your latest M33 firmware.

Requeriments:

– Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-3 or higher.

Instructions

– Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
– Get the 3.90 sony update from somewhere, and put it in same folder, with name “390.PBP”.
Alternatively, you can let the installer to download for you via wifi.
– Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.

Changes:

– 3.80 -> 3.90
– March33 NO UMD: fixed (yet another) bug related with exiting with home. (infinite semaphore wait)

Changes in updater:

– The degeneration check and correction of IDS keys happens too in 3.71 now.
– Added code to download 3.90 PBP from net via wifi.
Note that his code is not yet 100% stable, it may crash when selecting AP. In that case,
reinit the installer.
– L+triangle has been restored as method to bypass battery.
If you already have 390.PBP keep those buttons pressed until you see “Veryfing 390.PBP”.
If the 390.PBP is being downloaded bia wifi, press those buttons at the end of download until
you see the previous sentence.

Red Squirrel has updated his dumper tool for Playstation Portable.

Changes:

-Increased the available buffer to allow the CORRECT extraction of the 3.90 Firmware from Official Updater Eboot.
-Now the 3.90F Firmware can be extracted perfectly
-Only X and O functions will work without problems, the SQUARE function (extract and decrypt of ALL files) works fine but ends with and error when search for reboot.bin!

If you embed the song lyric in a MP3 file the player will display it, use Up / Down to scroll through it. The lyric has to be in the id3v2 tag USLT (Unsynchronized lyric transcription). Max. 80 lines.

EBoot2PSP is a Linux script which allows the easy compiling and testing of homebrew.

This script allows you to :

– Delete files as *.o
– Compile
– Copy EBoot to your PSP
– Copy folder where are your data files such image, music etc… on PSP
– Unmount PSP
