Save the economy on your iPhone!
To create a “soft landing” for the economy and save the global markets, move your device horizontally to lower interest rates, left to give money to homeowners and right to give money to corporations.
Soft Landing is integrated with Geocade’s location aware gaming community so you can compete for the high score in which ever city or town you are in worldwide.
A $5 dollar iTunes gift certificate will be emailed to the top high scorer (as of Jan 30th 2009) in each state in the US and each non-us country.
This app requires location services to submit your score. Soft Landing is based on code made available by Apple in the Crash Landing game.

“3D Virtual Globe” by mifki is an application similar to Google Earth.
Quote:
My virtual globe homebrew application for PSP. Not so many features for now, just explore beautiful places of our planet with 3D terrain and several layers to choose from. Your comments and ideas are welcome.
Hope it’s obvious that data is downloaded from Internet on demand and you’ll need active WiFi connection. After downloading images will be cached and loaded from memory stick next time so make sure you have enough free space too.

J2ME
OpenWIG is an attempt to develop a J2ME mobile application (midlet) with same capabilities as Wherigo player.
Release notes:
Version 0.3.07 has been released. It fixes several minor but important bugs, adds some new Lua properties and supports Internal GPS’s. There are also several usability improvements.
Note: logging is turned off by default, you need to enable it in Options. Important: if you enable logging, then the phone will ask you twice for permission to read and once for permission to write when you start a cartridge. This can be confusing, at first i thought that the app didn’t react to my answer.
