A new beta of”gp32 Frodo”is out:
beta4:Speed improvements so have turned the cpu down from 133 to 100mhz – eat less batteries. Niced up the menu a bit. Timing’s still way out of wack. T64 files now work. Direct smc filesystem access now works better. Contrast setting for nicer palette. Snapshot feature, but it’s currently broken.
I’m on the way to think about covering Dreamcast homebrewn news and probably a Dreamcast section again here at PDRoms. xRhino Releases Debian-based GNU/Linux Distribution for PlayStation 2A version of Debian GNU/Linux targeted for the Sony Playstation 2 has been released to the general public to promote independent hobbyist game and utility development for the console. This release constitutes a 1200+ software package Linux distribution that will hopefully be added to and extended by the general community. We will have a Debian package submission process shortly. For the moment, the current release should be a welcome update from the Kondara(RedHat) 5.2-based distribution released with the PlayStation 2 Linux kit.
