_cooper_ brings us the puzzle game 2048 to the Atari Lynx. Press A or B on title screen to have 2 different tilesets, 1 for LCD-modded lynx, and 1 for classic screen, a bit easier to read. There are minor problems known to this game, so it might get an update soon.

xpenguins lets 4 little penguins climb your desktop windows. Please don’t shoot ’em with your mouse.. Also you need to give ’em some empty space on your tiny desktop (tested with openbox and xfce). Minimenu works in fullscreen – so its more like a screensaver.

The penguins should kill themselves if cpu load reaches 100%. Use the kill icon in OtherGame to end xpenguins. In MiniMenu use the Pandora-Button to exit.

If you like to change the start params, take a look at the penguins_start.sh in your appdata/xpenguins folder.

Our friends from The Dreamcast Junkyard came up with wonderful news: With Marc Hall‘s hard work and the permission from Crazy Viking Studios the game Volgarr the Viking was remade for Sega’s Dreamcast.

Playing as Volgarr the Viking, use your sword and spear to slaughter your foes in bloody combat. Battle Gigantic bosses in every world and find secrets that lead to unknown paths. Holding onto Volgarr’s gear is key; his very life depends on it!

The Dreamcast version is Freeware but if you appreciate the game for Dreamcast you might want to buy the commercial version from Steam? The game is available to buy for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux (requires SteamOS).

M-HT released an updated statically recompiled Albion port. Datafiles from the original Albion game (v1.38) are still required and do not come with the download package.
