GMU Music Player v0.7.0 (Dingoo Linux Application)

Gmu is a music player for the Dingoo. Gmu supports Ogg Vorbis, MP3, Musepack, FLAC and various module formats (such as s3m, stm, it, etc.). It also includes a playlist and a file browser.

Quote:

After eight beta releases it is finally here: The Gmu Music Player version 0.7.0. This Gmu release comes with full source (GPLv2 licensed) and is available for the GP2X (with Open2X firmware), the GP2X Wiz, the Dingoo A320 (with Dingux) and the Ben NanoNote. […] Compared to the last beta release there are only a few minor changes and bug fixes. Most of these changes are relevant for porting Gmu to new devices and are less visible to the end user. Still, it is worth upgrading Gmu even if you have been using the last beta release, as some bugs have been fixed.

ScummVM v1.0 (Chaoticbob-cax) (Dingoo Linux misc)

ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!

Release notes:

This v.1.0-chaoticbob-cax is based on ChaoticBob’s v0.21 port of ScummVM.
Here is the list of changes (mostly taken from original ScummVM as found on scummvm.org):

– all-purpose virtual keyboard, activated with “R” button
– predictive T9 virtual keyboard for games like “Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards”
– “X” button remapped to Enter
– default ScummVM theme (skin)
– supports more game engines
– source advanced to version 1.0.0
– stripped (smaller) optimized statically compiled binary

Bubble Dizzy v1.0 (Dingoo Linux Game Port)

yoannd26 ported Foxy’s “Bubble Dizzy” remake to Dingux.

Bubble Dizzy is an arcade style action video game developed by the Oliver twins and published in November 1990 by Codemasters for the Amstrad, Spectrum, DOS, Atari ST, Commodore 64 and Amiga. The game involves Dizzy being forced to walk the plank of a pirate ship and from the sea bed use bubbles to float back to the surface and dry land. Like Dizzy Down the Rapids, this game derived from a mini-game found in The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy. [From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubble_Dizzy ]
