Microsoft’s annual XNA Game Studio Contest, the Dream-Build-Play Challenge 2008 was recently announced with an encouraging bonus – entrants who register on the official competition site will receive a free twelve-month XNA Creators Club trial membership. Only entries built for the Xbox 360 platform using XNA Game Studio 2.0 will be accepted, and all participants must apply for (or already own) an XNA Creators Club membership to be eligible for the competition. Entries can be submitted anytime between the 1st to 23rd of September 2008, while judging will commence in October. The grand prize winner will receive $40,000 and an Xbox LIVE publishing contract.
