Dont Get Crushed v1.1 (PS3 Game)

Don’t Get Crushed is a PS3 port/remake of ThatOtherDev’s previously released Wii game of the same name.

Use the left analog stick to move the grey ball left or right and avoid the other balls as they bounce across the screen. If you get crushed under one of the bouncing balls then its game over and your score is reset to zero. Your high score is automatically saved to your hard drive.

Dont Get Crushed

Release notes:

Here is an update to something I made for PS3 ages ago. It was originally made with the official SDK but it has now been remade with PSL1GHT and will work perfectly fine on CFW (is it still not possible to run the old stuff from the days of Jailbreak devices unmodified on CFW without getting an 80010009 error?).

There have been a handful of changes. Everything speeds up slightly as your score increases. The game pauses when the XMB is brought up. The text is larger and has a different font. There are a lot of other alterations but it is all minor stuff.

The one very noticeable change is that it has returned to being played with the analog sticks (you can use either one) instead of being sixaxis motion controlled. I wasn’t able to get the motion controls working (I have been having bad luck with controls lately lol). I would greatly appreciate it if anyone want’s to point me in the direction of an example showing the use of the sixaxis with PSL1GHT. It isn’t really a problem though. Motion controls are fun but it still plays well with the analog sticks.

Without Escape v1.2 (NDS Game)

Without Escape by PacoChan is a point & click adventure inspired in Resident Evil and Silent Hill, although there are no monsters. The main objective is to escape from your house since it’s happening a lot of weird things. The game is only in Spanish for now, but it has multi-language support. It would be nice if someone could do an English translation.

Neo Linkmasta and Neo Flashmasta (NGPC misc)

Flavor talks about his latest projects for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. These projects will hopefully give a small boost and raise interest in this SNK’s handheld again.

As it’s a lot easier that the “masta” himself talks, here is a quote:

The first is what I call the “Neo Linkmasta.” It hooks to a computer via USB. Then, it can “talk” to a game cartridge. Mainly this is good for reading and writing the cartridge data.

It has 3 interfaces on it. Two are specific. The specific ones are for the Neo Geo Pocket game carts and the Neo Geo MVS/AES memory cards. The third is a generic 40-pin expansion port. The idea is that anyone could plug in a standard 40-pin ribbon cable to it and hook the other end to whatever device they wanted (like maybe a Gameboy cartridge).

You could use this for things like backing up a save-game file, dumping a game to a file on your computer, or putting a PDROM game on to a flashable cartridge.

The other part of my project is the “Neo Pocket Flashmasta.” It’s a flashable cartridge for the Neo Geo Pocket. Someone could download a PDROM from your site, use the Linkmasta to flash it to the Flashmasta, then put the Flashmasta in their NGPC and play the game.
