    atari2600land has posted an update of his Atari 2600 homebrew game “Jack and the Beanstalk” which is based upon a fairy tale with the same name.

    Release notes:

    I’ve updated the game.

    To select a type for level 1, press the select switch until the option you want comes up. The following options are:

    1 – screens in order (20 of them)
    2 – screens in order (10 of them)
    3 – screens random (20 of them)
    4 – screens random (10 of them)

    I need to work on some parts where the game sometimes gets above 262 scanlines.

    Gcmm is a project started by dsbomb and justb, which is based on Askot’s modification to add SD support to the mcbackup libogc example.

    Updated to libfat
    Added Wii support
    Fixed restore bug (yes, savegames will restore properly)
    New background
    Support for interlaced and widescreen in all regions
    Delete mode (dsbomb&justb)
    Shows the savegame information (mostly by dsbomb&justb)
    Many other fixes/modifications for the user

    DS Visual Novel Reader is a visual novel reader for Nintendo DS.

    Changes:

    * Fixed a memory leak and a wild pointer in png loader.
    * Prints an error instead of crashing if an image is corrupted.
    * Large parts of the program have been rewritten, it’s now much more stable.
    * Decreased png loading time by 10-25%
    * ZIP file entries are cached to decrease novel load times.
    * Scans ahead to preload the next image.
    * Uses a modified version of libfat to decrease seek-times in large files.
    * Crossfades between bgload/setimg commands.
    * Added user-changeable settings: fontsize/textspeed/volume (music & sound)
    * Program is skinnable, change the current skin via config.ini
