The 3DO Interactive Multiplayer is a 32-bit console standard released in 1993, designed by The 3DO Company (founded by EA’s Trip Hawkins) and licensed to third-party manufacturers like Panasonic, GoldStar, and Sanyo. It features a 12.5 MHz ARM60 RISC CPU, dual 32-bit graphics engines, 2 MB RAM, 1 MB VRAM, 16-bit DSP stereo sound, and a double-speed CD-ROM drive.
