The SAM Coupรฉ is an 8-bit home computer released by MGT (Miles Gordon Technology) in the UK in 1989. Powered by a Zilog Z80B CPU running at 6 MHz with 256 KB or 512 KB of RAM (expandable to 4 MB), it features a custom ASIC chip outputting a 256 x 192 resolution with a 128-color palette and 6-channel Philips SAA1099 stereo audio. Designed with high hardware compatibility for the ZX Spectrum, it includes a 78-key keyboard, dual MIDI ports, and slots for up to two internal 3.5-inch floppy drives.
