The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld video game console released by Sony in 2004. Powered by a 333 MHz MIPS R4000-based CPU, a graphics core running at 166 MHz, and 32 MB of system RAM (64 MB on later models), it features a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 TFT widescreen display. It introduced Universal Media Discs (UMD) as its software format, Memory Stick Duo cards for storage, built-in Wi-Fi, and a single analog nub for control.
