Nanodesktop v0.3.5 (PSP misc)

Nanodesktop is a library for the development of simple applications under embedded platforms, as the Sony Playstation Portable (TM).

The Nanodesktop library is totally written in C for maximum performance. If you have a platform where you cannot run traditional windows environments, as X-Window (TM), you can try Nanodesktop library.

Release notes:

I have released a new version of Nanodesktop (0.3.5). This version is only for developers, some features don’t work yet (but it is 99% working).

My hope is that other developers can work on it. For example, I’m looking for somebody that can help me to add the support for
the PyKey driver (the code is already written and ready; I need only a programmer that writes the calls to the driver and that tests the hardware).

Irdeto Sage Key Decryptor v2.0 (PSP Application)

Irdeto Sage is a Irdeto based file encryptor/decryptor for PlayStation Portable.

Release notes:

Her’s the more polished version of Irdeto Sage file Encryptor/Decryptor for the Sony PSP.

This version adds another step to the crypt algorithms with little time overhead,
also an interface tidy up, and a file footer is added to encrypted files to prevent
encrypting a file twice, or trying to decrypt a file that is already in plain state
(ie. the program knows if a file has been encrypted with this program or not).

Encrypted files produced with IDS V1 are not compatible with V2 for two of the reasons given above.

Full source is given away with this release.

PSP Royal Casino v1.0 (English) (PSP Lua Game)

SophT translated dark-jeys Casino Royal. There are three games included: Poker, Black Jack and a Slot machine.

Quote:

I’ve taken the liberty of translating Dark-Jey’s PSP HomeBrew release PSP Royal Casino v1.0 into english. The entire gui is graphical in PNG format, so some of the graphics may not be flashy as the original, but others, in my opinion, are better.

I haven’t done any of the coding here, I simply translated from French to English, So I can’t offer any support for it, outside of language barriers.

AlienDS (13-10-2008) (NDS Game)

Pac has updated his First Person Shooter AlienDS for Nintendo DS.

Release notes:

Well, thanks everyone for the encouragement and sugestions. First I’ve uploaded a new version, that includes some of the improvements some of you have mentioned.

First is the new control style with the stylus, complete with mirroring for left handed people(thank my brother for that). Of course it’s optional, there’s a menu at the beginning. Though you can use the stylus to look around, you can’t look up and down, not because it’s difficult to implement but because you can’t do it in the original control scheme. Also everything in this game it’s at the same height, no need to look up and down.

I also have updated the radar/map thing, now displays the enemies too, the catch is that it only shows them when they move, it’s a motion sensor!, so it’s still tense. There is too a new decorative element, a light column thing, I think it looks good.

About other things, I don’t think I’ll code a tool set for this. The game it’s almost at the point I wanted it to be so I’ll probably start something else. When that happens I’ll release the source code, though I don’t think it’ll be that useful, it’s ugly and full of hacks. Anyway there are still things I want to do with this! Right now I’m trying to implement a random level generator, so the game can keep fresh, will see how that works. Also more decorative elements and interactive things like barrels or something, that’s easy to do.
