Frodo Comfort v8 (C64 emu for Wii)

Frodo is a Commodore 64 emulator written by Christian Bauer ( http://frodo.cebix.net ). It was ported to the Wii by Simon Kagstrom and does not share any code with FrodoWii.

Put .t64 or .d64 files in /apps/frodo/images on your SD card. The in-game menu allows you to insert disks/tapes, load them and configure the display, joystick ports etc. Saves will be stored on the SD card and the preferences are stored persistently. Wiimote 1 is by default the joystick in port 1 and wiimote 2 the joystick in port 2, but you can swap this.

Holger Eilts has made a version with better menu layout, alternative USB keyboard support, screenshots and the ability to load files within D64s directly. This release tree is known as “Frodo Comfort”. It’s based on Frodo v8 and therefore does not have network support.

ScummVM DS v0.13.1 (Beta 3) (NDS misc)

ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!

Some of the adventures ScummVM supports include Adventure Soft’s Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolution’s Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and Broken Sword 2; Flight of the Amazon Queen; Wyrmkeep’s Inherit the Earth; Coktel Vision’s Gobliiins; Westwood Studios’ The Legend of Kyrandia and games based on LucasArts’ SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more. You can find a thorough list with details on which games are supported and how well on the compatibility page.

Changes:

– Fixed a bug where the cursor would display in the wrong place
when screen were swapped.
– Fixed a bug where the screens wouldn’t swap back in certain
cases when on a menu screen.
– Fixed a crash when returning to launcher from some games
– Fixed long pauses in Kyrandia.

BarcodeZilla v0.7.7 (PPC Application)

BarcodeZilla is a Zxing based barcode decoding application which is enabled for product recognition (mainly intended for EAN-8 / EAN-13 and UPC barcodes) that will display information the origin country of the product and allows to download product information (if available) and to edit and upload product and price information for your country as well using a WCF webservice.

Actually the online database is still quite empty as the author been the only one to use it during the last days (it contains a few switzerland products) but he is sure that it can grow very quickly if everybody plays the game and uploads some products.

Changes:

Remove Live mode (seems to cause issues on some devices)
Moved capture button to the bottom
Improved Web Service on Server, no more external queries are made by the Windows Mobile device anymore, the Barcodezilla webservice handles everything to improve performances…
