Game & Watch Simulator is a generic engine for simulation of Game & Watch-like games, created by Hitnrun, starting with ports of the Madrigal Game & Watch Simulators, with permission. It is designed to run anywhere SDL is available, with emphasis in handheld machines.

As for the Madrigal simulators, the simulation is aimed to be as close as possible to the real machine, simulating on-off, ACL mode, time modes, etc. Alarm and chrono modes only display default data, as there is not enough motivation for its simulation.

Currently 6 games from VTECH are simulated: MONKEY, PIRATE, DEFENDO, CONDOR, PANCAKE and ROLLER COASTER.

Super Geometry Dust by wermy is a Geometry Wars / Super Star Dust HD mash-up for Pandora.

Changes:

New features:
– Two new gameplay modes!
– Meteor Shower Mode: There are three structures on the sphere that you must protect from rocks, an invincible enemy well, and a whole lot of asteroids…
– Survival Mode: 3 of each bomb, one life, and zero super laser… How long can you last?
– New enemy: X-enemy. Takes a couple hits to kill, and moves very quickly…

Bugfixes:
– Fixed bug where high scores with an empty name entry would not be saved
– Fixed asteroid disappearing bug
– Fixed bug with bombs and asteroids… Bombs are *much* more effective against asteroids now.

– Laser shooting enemies are now treated as regular enemies, and can spawn in waves (but not circular waves around you. That just wouldn’t be fair…)
– Made it so successive enemy waves would never be of the same type
– Adjusted difficulty ramping (shouldn’t plateau as soon)
– Better-looking asteroid disappearing

Ginge is an application that can run many GP2X F100/F200, Wiz games and programs on other ARM Linux platforms, which currently includes Pandora, Caanoo and Wiz itself. It is not a full hardware emulator like MAME, PicoDrive or similar, it does not emulate the CPU. It can be considered as compatibility layer similar to Wine on PC Linux, however it does emulate small portion of MMSP2 and Pollux system-on-chips. It operates by hooking certain system calls and using realtime patching of code that accesses memory mapped hardware directly.
