iJailBreak v0.5.3 (iPhone Application)

iJailBreak can automatically add third party applications to the iPod Touch and iPhone.

Release notes:

We’ve just uploaded iJailBreak 0.5.3. This version brings a few features from the new ZiPhone version released a short bit ago.

First, the unlock now works on all iPhones – regardless of whether you bought it this afternoon or on June 29. Second, we got some conflicing reports from our PowerPC users regarding iJailBreak working – some said it worked, others said it didn’t. This update has re-ensured PowerPC compatibility for those running Tiger or Leopard. If you’re running any other version of Mac OS X, iJailBreak will not work.

IMPORTANT: this release does not include iPod Touch support. We’re still working on that.

It will be pushed as an update in the next few hours to our current install base, but if you’d rather use iJailBreak 0.5.3 now, you can download it here on our Google Code. Enjoy!

Thanks to http://www.dcemu.co.uk for the news.

PSAFE v3 (PSP Application)

TRStealthX updated his security application PSAFE.

Release notes:

Wohoo! Just like I promised, the 3rd version of PSAFE is finally released!

Youtube Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CP1VQH0sn0

Features:
– IP ADDRESS UPDATE: You are now able to update your IP address. The system will check to make sure that your IP address isn’t the same and update it if necessary.
– CONNECTION LOG: You are now able to view all of your PSP’s connections. You can print out the log information if you want. The logs will tell you whether the connections were from your computer or not.
– NEW PSP THEFT CHECK: Due to the amount of ISPs that refresh your IP address a few times a week, I now added a new way for your computer to recognized. The check application will make sure that its your computer by the IP Address AND the computer’s nickname.

Future Releases:
I really want to make a 4th version for the PSP itself, something that you can flash to the PSP and not have to worry about having a memory stick. However, I managed to drop my PSP today in such a way that the screen broke, along with the UMD door. I have no way of coding a new version without a PSP of my own and so I’m relying on donations. You can help make a difference for PSAFE and for your PSP community. It doesn’t matter how much you donate, seriously. Donate .50 cents if that’s all you can! As soon as I have the money for the PSP, I will take the donations down.

Please leave your name along with the donation, that way I can have your name on the special thanks part of the PSP application.

DSFTP v2.6 (NDS Application)

DSFTP is a full-fledged FTP server, with the additional ability to boot .nds files directly from the FTP prompt (currently only tested on SuperCard CF and SD, but should work on most).

DSFTP is a stand-alone program that you can use to run a FTP server on your DS. It is also a software component that makes it easy for you to add an FTP server to your own program with a couple lines of code. With this, you can speed up the build process radically, because you can upload the new version of your program to your own running program, and reboot it immediately. This can even be automated via the command line. No swapping of flash cards ever again!

Changes:

o Fixed hangs on some hardware combinations
o Fixed bug which caused directory contents not to be reported correctly
o Introduced new config option “transferblocksize”
