Hungry Garden is walaber’s entry to this year’s Falling Block Jam, made in PICO-8. You move blocks with the arrow keys and rotate them with Z and X, and when a chomper has a path of at least three food blocks it eats and then disappears.
Paths have to be contiguous with no gaps or backtracking, longer paths score more, and a chomper that can eat straight after the grid settles from a previous one triggers a combo for extra points.
