Franxis ported the latest GP2x MAME (v1.6) over to the Wiz. MAME stands for “multiple arcade machine emulator”.

This is an early beta version based on MAME4ALL 1.6:
– Download and install MAME4ALL for the GP2X.
– Remove old files in the ‘frontend’ folder.
– Overwrite the executables with the WIZ ones.
– It is faster than the GP2X port.
– It contains some specific features, such as horizontal scaling with linear filtering in 16 bit color mode.

Different obstacles bar your way, so you have to be quick in order to find a safe route down before it is too late. This game is all about getting the highest score. There is no end to the level, try to survive as long as possible. Also included is a two-player mode where two people can compete on the same console.

intraFont is a bitmap font library for PSP using the PSP’s internal font (firmware pgf files).

Changes:

added support for Chinese (gb3s1518.bwfon): now all of the PSPs internal fonts are supported! (thanks to Tong for his help)
added libccc (my Character Code Conversion library) for string parsing/conversion:
it currrently supports decoding of UTF-8 and the following codepages: CP437 (US), CP850 (Multilingual Latin I), CP866 (Russian), CP932 (Japanese Shift-JIS), CP936 (Simplified Chinese GBK), CP949 (Korean), CP950 (Traditional Chinese Big5), CP1251 (Cyrillic) and CP1252 (Latin I)
it’s required by intraFont 0.30+ (simply add libccc.o to the OBJS list in your makefile)
if you don’t need any codepages: add -DLIBCCC_NO_CP to the CFLAGS in your makefile, which saves around 140kB of size/memory.

Some new UMDs are detecting files in the ms0:/seplugins and ms0:/iso folders and causing problems, even deleting files from these folders. This plugin will hide these folders in GAME mode so they can’t be accessed.
