BeebEm by Mike Wyatt is a BBC Micro and Master 128 emulator and enables you to run BBC Micro software. BeebEm was first developed for UNIX systems in 1994 by Dave Gilbert and was then ported to other systems.
– GP2X BeebEm, with minor changes
– built with gcc, optimized for OMAP3
– with Notaz SDL, for hardware scaling
– a few free disk images are included with the emulator
– button mapping and save states are working now
– remembers path to your disc images
This port is a work in progress, not perfect yet:
– the GP2X BeebEm uses 320×240, some scan lines are lost.
– the sound is a bit choppy sometimes
– virtual keyboard don’t work, not much needed on Pandora
– hard to type some keys in Basic, need a Basic key map / option?
PSP-Maps is an attempt to bring Google Maps to the Pandora with a simple interface. This program is not using the Google Maps API (except for address search), it is retrieving the images directly.
ArcEm is a portable open-source emulator for the Acorn Archimedes. It’s capable of running multiple operating systems including RISC OS and ARM Linux. Ported to Pandora by Sam Watkins.
Sqrzx 3 by Retroguru is a pretty insane Jump’n Run Game with puzzle elements. Make sure your mind works faster than a thunder and your fingers should be even faster than that.
PanLink is an open source clone of the puzzle game LinLink. You have to pair up pictures following rules similar to Mahjong.
PanLink was forked from llk_linux in January 2013, which seems to be abandoned since 2005. First release is v2.4 and based on the 2.3beta1 source code of llk_linux. Major changes are optimizations for fitting the OpenPandora screen, stripping and rewriting some incompatible or deprecated code and replacing artwork with unclear licensing.
