Mines and Flowers is a puzzle game with simple rules. You have a grid with mines and flowers. The object of the game is to turn all the mines on the grid into flowers. When you click on a cell with a mine, that one and the four adjacent cells will change to a flower and viceversa.

SuperTux is a classic 2D jump’n run sidescroller game in a style similar to the original Super Mario games covered under the GPL.

Changes:

1. Enabled the mouse. I believe it didn’t work in my PND or the original as they were using a modified version of libSDL. I’m going to use the default one on the Pandora and see if it causes any problems.
2. The level editor now works on the 800×480 resolution.
3. I’ve included documentation with some basic Pandora specific instructions plus the README from the original game.
4. Added more screenshots for it (my screenshots were taken on my desktop, and are 640×480, if anyone wants to provide proper 800×480 screenshots, you’re more than welcome). I also changed the icon to be the icon from the original game. You’re welcome, milkshake!
5. Added the “Tux Strikes Back” levelset. Can be found under “Bonus Levels”.

If you’ve played Columns then you know what Crystal Stacker is all about. Match 3 or more of the same color crystals either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to destroy them. For every 45 crystals you destroy, the level increases and the crystals fall faster. The higher the level, the more points you are awarded for destroying crystals.

EvilDragon of the Pandora development team released a release client version of their sixth Hotfix pack for the Pandora.

Changes from Hotfix 6 Beta 1 to Hotfix 6 RC are:

* TV Out-fixed (NTSC Composite was broken), included TV Out Configuration tool from Caine
* PNDStore updated to latest version
* Included drivers for RTL8712/8188/8191/8192SU/8192CU WLAN Sticks. This has been done for the WiFi-Less-Pandoras sold with a WiFi Stick.
* Fixed Gigolo
* Some Lid-Closing / Power Saving-Bugs fixed
* Fixed issue that prevented unmounting of SD Cards in some cases
* pnd_run: restore the framebuffer status on PND exit. Hide $HOME into $REAL_HOME
* Increase Panel size so that the remaining battery time should now always stay below the %age.

Epiphany is a clone of Boulderdash. The player must collect all valuable minerals scattered in levels, avoiding being hit by a falling boulder, or (worst) by a bomb. Original game by Giuseppe D’Aqui and Giuseppe Martino, ported by mcobit.

POWDER is a Rogue-like game, which is not a port of an existing Rogue-like. It is built around re-playability and long term ergonomics, not short term learning. Author of this piece of software is Jeff Lait.

PNDstore is an essential application for all Pandora users! It acts as “store” system for many Pandora related things such as games, emulators and applications. The system is easy to use and so it is pretty simple to get more content on your Pandora!

Release notes:

This release is mostly for stability, with almost no UI changes. They’ll come eventually.
– Adds full support for version 3.0 of the repository spec. This allows list updating to be done more efficiently, though the improvements are likely not noticeable to humans
– Properly scans all appropriate directories for PNDs, including pandora/mmenu
– Ctrl+Q shortcut closes the GUI
– Will fail gracefully when encountering network connectivity errors, rather than acting like it’s working

Release notes:

This is just a quick port to the Pandora of the current (20111003) SVN-version. No bios-file or similar data is needed to run the emulator. This version does not use hardware-acceleration and does not run PAL-games, but it should work fine with NTSC-games and still should be fast enough to run at standard speed. You also can pass a rom-name to the run.sh-script for example by using /usr/pandora/scripts/pnd_run.sh. run pnd_run.sh without any parameter for a short description.
