Due to licensing issues, the Pandora does not have any licensed codecs like MP3 or MPEG-Video installed on the default OS. You can install them using this Codec Package. Just after the Pandora dev team started shipping the first Pandoras, they found out that some Python packages had gone missing in the OS – and that the kernel had one bug. The problems are fixed and you are highly advised to install the HotFix package when you receive your Pandora.
