Robot City v0.21 (A2600 Game)

[Description taken from] Robot City is an 8K unreleased prototype on the Odyssey 2, and Thomas has thus far managed to squeeze it into 2K on the 2600. The premise of the game is very simple: You’re a helicopter in a maze filled with tanks trying to kill you. Of course, you must kill them first with your gun. But the tanks have a shield and can only be disabled when hit in the rear where they are unprotected. Development is continuing rapidly, and this latest version (0.21) has several new features over the earlier version we posted. Improvements and changes include:

Built-in maze generator
Wall density can be changed with left difficulty
Improved fuel display
Hitting tanks from the back is more tolerant
Larger tank missiles
Some minor bugfixes

Thomas is looking for feedback so he can improve the game as he continues to develop it, so please visit Atari Age’s Atari 2600 Forum where you can leave your comments.

Yet AnotherSokoban Clone R4 (GP32 Game)

Tommy Widenflycht aka CMOTD released a new version of YASC! The changes for Release 4 are:

– A new levelset in XSB format is included (grigr.xsb)
– Express moves, go as far as possible without pushing with one keystroke. See the controls section for more information.
– XSB file format support. Now every (almost) levelset can be played without conversion.
– Sounds! User configurable!
-” Seamless” walls! Very nice IMHO! – Small fixes and additions here and there.
– My “Rasta” skin have been redrawn/upgraded.

Ebooblution (GBA Game)

Ebooblution is a new GBA Freeware game created by Hector Zapata and Yolanda Cabrera. I’d say it’s similar to the old arcarde game called Pang. Have a look on the page below where you can discover screenshots and of course the download! Thanks toGBAEMU.comfor the news!

The Fallen (GBA Game)

“The Fallen Team” released a prototype version of their new shooter game called “The Fallen”.

[Description taken from the homepage] It takes the established old school game design and pure gameplay of classic shooting games such a R-Type, Robotron and Smash TV and brings them into the 21st century with a more mature design style and advanced game graphics.

Thanks to for the news!

New Atari Lynx game! (Atari Lynx misc)

Today I added “Multi Pong 1k” by Bjoern Spruck. The game is rather new because it was released on the 7th September. Handy (Atari Lynx emulator) does NOT run it very well. I’d recommend you to use a real Lynx if possible.
