They Do Not Die 2 v0.1 (PS3 Game)

They Do Not Die 2 is a successor of “They Do Not Die”. A top-down Zombie shooter with rather simple graphics by ThatOtherDev.

Release notes:

So I’m making a sequel to my top down zombie shooter They Do Not Die. it is being made primarily for PS3 but there will also be a PC version and there may potentially be a Wii port of it later.

This is just a very early build of it but so far the game already features a truly massive procedurally generated city that is populated by human survivors and zombies that you can shoot.

One thing that I have working already that I’m really happy with is the fact that you (the player) are not treated special by the zombie AI. They will gladly ignore you if there is another human that is closer to them. There is something really cool about walking down a street and seeing people being herded by zombies.

There is collision detection that makes you bump into other people and prevents you from walking on water but there isn’t any yet for the building walls.

You are the orange circle, human survivors are pink and zombies are green. I know that not everybody likes them but the arrow circles will always be the default appearance for people in the game. But I will quickly put together some kind of a re skinned version if there are any color blind or partially color blind players that are finding it difficult to differentiate between them and there might eventually be built in support for alternate skins.

I’ll be alternating between working on this and The Unmapped Forest.

PS3 controls:
* Left analog stick = Move
* Right analog stick = Aim
* R1 = Shoot

Panorama v0.1.269.0 (Pandora Application)

Panorama is an application lanucher written in Qt for the OpenPandora portable gaming platform. The focus lies on creating an extremely portable, modular and extensible system that also is visually appealing and uses little resources. Having intuitive controls and an efficient usage of screen real estate is also a primary goal.

DSDoom v1.2.0 (NDS Engine Port)

DSDoom is a port of Doom by wintermute to the Nintendo DS based off the PrBoom source tree because of its purity and portability. Original game data is required and does not come with the download pack. The author accepts donations!

Changes:

* Now with DSi compatibility and the ability to read files from it’s own folder on argv supporting cards.

Space Pilot v1.0 (NDS Game)

Space Pilot is a third person space shooter. In this game you play as a pilot who’s goal is to shoot down all the other pilots.

Further release notes:

Currently there is only one style of gameplay that is endless. Also it is missing spaceship specifications (all ships work the same) and spaceship selection. I’ll try adding bigger and better stuff later.

The current version is only single player. It’s you against 3 other computerized AI pilots. The AI’s aren’t the best flyers but have dead on accuracy. Each AI bot has 5 functions ranging from locating the nearest enemy ship, following ships, shooting, evasion, as well as suicide collisions too and more! The game also has a mini map to reveal the location of other ships. On the bottom screen displayed is each player’s name and stats (which glitch out some of the letters sometimes). To play aim/set angle of your ship using the stylus. Move forward by holding Up/X and backward with Down/B, and use the L and R buttons to fire. i know the current version is very glitchy and tons of other things need changing, but this is a quick demo i’m posting because i’m about to get real busy and not sure when i’ll get enough time to work on it again, so i decided to post it anyways. Super Methane Brothers v1.4.8 (DC Game Port)

Indiket ported Super Methane Brothers, a former commercial Amiga platformer by Apache Software Ltd. It is SD-Adapter compatible (but only with Chui’s loader).

Puff and Blow must suck the floating gas clouds into their guns and blast them out against a vertical surface. Bad guys then turn into bonuses which can be collected. Be warned! – the gas cloud dissolves with time after which baddies become active again and extremely annoyed.

Puff and Blow each have a Methane Gas Gun which fires a cloud of immobilizing gas. If this comes into contact with a bad guy he will be absorbed into the gas and then float around the screen for a limited time. Bad guys are harmless in this state.
