miemt11 has released another update to his MPH Firmware Launcher patch (miemt11 is NOT the original program author, he only wrote this patch). Japanese users who expirienced problems with a PSP 1.00 and 1.50 firmware should take a look at this new patch if they used miemt11s patches before.http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=17026

Thanks to drunkencoders.com for the news. This was the first coding competition GBAWinS.com ran - and i see it as a success, we got an overall of 10 entries, and i think it's alot for a small compo like this one. We will surely run another compo soon. I hope to see more outstanding works even when we are not running a compohttp://s3.invisionfree.com/GBAWinS/index.php?showtopic=324

Madelman has updated his Nintendo NES emulator Phamicom for the GP2x. Changes:Using rlyeh’s minilib instead of SDL.Improved speed. Now all games I tested are playable.http://elligre.tk/madelman/index.php/gp2x/
Miyu has updated Sterm for the GP2x. It is a terminal emulation program with virtual keyboard input.Original Author: jochang. I've just recompiled and changed it a bit.Relevant changes to 0.1:Cause the 1.2.0 firmware comes with a incompatible (to sterm 0.1) version of the SDL libs and I hate installing libs for such an essential program like a terminal anyway, I linked the binary staticly. This results in about 700kb extra size, but when you bricked and reinstalled your GP2X several times like I have, you`ll agree it is worth the pain.Furthermore, the X Button now is equal to the SPACE key. One of the most forgotten mappings in 0.1http://www.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,8,1147

Skeezix has updated his Atari ST emulator Outcast to version 003. New in this version:NEW: Virtual keyboard -- needed for entering text or function keys etc of course, but also to get into a lot of games; the crack groups often put loader demos, or multiple games on a disk, and so you sometimes need to hit spacebar, or a number, of function key. Of course, some games require keyboard controls, too.NEW: Input modes a little more definedFIX: YM chipmusic is pretty good now, though sample playback is still asshat; I'll work on that more. Always running out of time ;)NOTE: Most of the START runtime menu should work fine now; CPU Mhz setting isn't yet available, but throttle and frameskip and disk management and savestates and control modes should all be working!CHG: Welcome screen texthttp://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?showtopic=24511
