Picker wheels allow easy selection of fonts and “code blocks” of the Unicode character set. The character code may be entered in decimal or hex, or use the keyboard for the Basic Latin set.

Clicking in text area no longer clears previous character.
Editing numeric text field now updates character as you type.
Character and base now remembered between runs.
Minor bug fixes to scrolling.

the Clave is a clave pattern metronome/click track app with four selectable clave patterns: Son, Rumba, Afro (6/8-style) and Bossa Nova.

– The current pattern is shown on-screen in traditional notation, with each beat highlighted as it is played.
– Tempo is variable from 40 to 180 beats per minute (cut time), and the timing is rock-solid: accurate to the nearest sample (22 microseconds). All patterns start in 3-2 (“forward clave”).
– Playback continues when the screen lock appears, and also when the silent switch is active (on iPhone). The application responds to the volume up/down keys.

It’s a useful practice aid, whether you are beginning to play Latin American music, or an experienced sonero.
