The Nintendo 64 is a 64-bit home console released by Nintendo in 1996. Powered by a 93.75 MHz NEC VR4300 CPU, a 62.5 MHz SGI Reality Coprocessor, and 4 MB unified RDRAM (expandable to 8 MB), it outputs resolutions up to 640 x 480 with 3D hardware filtering. It uses ROM cartridges and features four controller ports with an iconic analog thumbstick pad.
