A new Scorpion Engine tutorial video shows how to turn ordinary graphics into copper-sliced colour data for Amiga 500 OCS games, using the png2amiga website and Scorpion Engine.
The process, inspired by the game Lionheart and refined with help from Scorpion Engine creator earok, lets a 16-colour OCS game effectively display over 100 colours. The video includes five ready-made example projects โ from The Adventures of Lomax (PlayStation) to Metal Slug (Neo Geo) โ and a written step-by-step guide. You will need Scorpion Engine and Tiled, both free to download.
