CSDEVCTRL v2.5 (PPC Application)

Quote:

Hi all,
this is just another auto locking program.

The difference is that it uses the Windows Lock and it can be activated:
a. A few seconds after the screen has deemed (Backlight has been reduced due to user inactivity) and/or
b. After the device has waken up.
Also during the above the program can run a specified executable/registered file together with any command line arguments that might be required.

The behavior of this program is driven by the next key/values:

> Key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareCSDevCtrlOptions

> Values

– LockWhileOnExternalPwr=0 or 1
If set to 1 it will lock the device even while running on external power.

– LockAfterWake=0 or 1
If set to 1 it will lock the device after the device has waken (not soft reset).

– LockAfterWakeOnlyBlthOn= 0 or 1
If set to 1 it will lock the device after the device has waken (not soft reset) and Bluetooth is on.

– DelayBeforeLockMsAfterWake=250
Time in ms to wait before applying the lock from wake and running any program (no need to change).

– LockAfterDim=0 or 1
If set to 1 it will lock the device after the screen has dimmed (user inactive).

– DelayBeforeLockMs=250
Time in ms to wait before applying the lock from dim and running any program (no need to change)

– LockAfterDimSeconds=10
Time in seconds to wait before applying the lock once the screen has dimmed.

– ShowTodayAfterLock=0 or 1

If set to 1 it will bring the Windows Today Screen after applying the user selected lock.

— AfterTodayRunFilePath=XXX
XXX (if not left blank) it can be an executable/registed file which will be run after the lock and the Today focus
— AfterTodayRunFileParm=XXX
XXX (if not left blank) they are the command line arguments of the previous option.
— LockAndBackAfterToday=0 or 1
If set to 1, after unlocking the Today screen will be hidden so that the rest of the windows are visible.

If set to 0 then the next values will be used

— AfterLockRunFilePath=XXX
XXX (if not left blank) it can be an executable/registed file which will be run after the lock.
— AfterLockRunFileParm=XXX
XXX (if not left blank) they are the command line arguments of the previous option.

To install it:
> copy the csdevctrl.exe to a folder

The initial run of the program, will create the registry keys with default values which are:
– LockAfterWakeOnlyBlthOn= 0
– LockWhileOnExternalPwr=0
– LockAfterWake=1
– DelayBeforeLockMsAfterWake=250
– LockAfterDim=1
– DelayBeforeLockMs=250
– LockAfterDimSeconds=10
– ShowTodayAfterLock=1
— AfterTodayRunFilePath=(Blank)
— AfterTodayRunFileParm=(Blank)
— LockAndBackAfterToday=1
— AfterLockRunFilePath=(Blank)
— AfterLockRunFileParm=(Blank)

To run it:
Simply run it and it will spawn at the background as another process.

Running the program second time will cause the program to exit (It will show a confirmation window which will close in 3 seconds unless you close it sooner).

To uninstall it, close the process as usual (run it again or kill the process) and delete the file.
Also delete the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareCSDevCtrlOptions

As a note, do not rename the csdevctrl.exe as the uninstall depends on this name.

It has been compiled for WM5 so it should run on both WM5/WM6 (i am using a Kaiser with WM6.1)

Have fun
Chris

P.S:
I can not upload the new version, seems there is a problem with the xda side.

This is the rapidshare link instead:

Slide2Play v0.40 (PPC Application)

S2P(Slide2Play) is my third S2 series application. S2P is a stylus-free MP3/WMA player application. It simply lets you browse your music files & play.

Changes:

– added AVRCP support (play/pause/next/previous) to devices that use MS BT stack.
– added DPAD control to “move” the playback when the timeline is shown.
– added “Repeat Single” – tap the repeat icon until a small “1” is shown.
– limited the way to change to portrait Album View by double tap the album title area only; to go back, double tap the album title area again.
– fixed the issue that some devices cannot run in Landscape mode.
– some minor bugs fixed.

SPB Contact v0.01 (PPC Application)

Spb Mobile Shell 2 – Contacts App Replacement Version 0.01

——————————————————————————–

I made an easy way of replacing the SPB Contacts app in Mobile Shell 2 with your own prefered application. Once you create a shortcut you can switch between the default Mobile Shell Contacts and any application of your choosing.

I made it as simple as possible to add your prefered Contacts Manager, I use Finger Friendly, my friend uses iContact, and PocketCM seems quite popular here. As downloaded, the script is setup for Finger-Friendly Friends, but to change it all you have to do is edit the first 2 lines with a text editor.

For use with SPB Mobile Shell 2 only, for Windows Mobile support see this thread.

MortScript is requied, download it here.

I hope you find this useful!

To use:

1. Download and unpack the ZIP file.
2. Edit the first 2 lines in the MSCR file, notepad works fine for this.

set AltContactName, “Finger Friendly Friends”
set AltContactPath, “Program FilesFinger-Friendly FriendsFingerFriendlyFriends.exe”

3. Copy to your device, and make a shortcut in the Mobile Shell Launcher (I placed it in “TOOLS”)
4. Click the shortcut and answer the “Yes or No” question.
5. Repeat step 4 to swap between the two contact managers!

Organic Lock v0.8.1.5 (PPC Application)

The whole point of the program is to unlock you device not with some alphanumeric sequence or a simple key combination, but with a sequence pattern of points on screen.

Then the sequence entering screen is shown, where you need to repeat the configured sequence by taping the moving shapes. Device is automatically locked after soft-reset.
Going to check compatibility/add with different screen lockers (like S2U2) in future versions. Locker does not consume any resources while screen is locked. It is only activated when unlock is initiated.

Current version is in beta stage, so chances are there might be some quirks here and there.

Changes:

– New unlocker – Static picture with absolute positioning (others have relative).
– Config stored in program folder now.
– A bit more user friendly configurator. Shows order of entered points with letters. Loads previous settings.
– Possibility to unlock device with a special ‘panic’ key.
– Letters are shown instead of numbers in unlocker screen.
– Option to automatically lock after soft-reset.
