iBlackjack v1.0 WIP (iPhone Game)

iBlackjack seems to reach v1.0 soon.

Notes:

Thanks to everyone for testing out the early versions of iBlackjack. Your insightful feedback, encouragement and generosity has helped me create a great game. Since all efforts are now focused on making iBlackjack a great commercial game developed under the official iPhone SDK, we had to deactivate the old unsupported versions.

By now I was hoping to know more about when the final version of the game would be available. We originally planned to get it out ASAP in March, but are at the mercy of Apple and their SDK timelines. Since we wont know details of that until late next week, I will have to provide updated details and a date at a later date.

For the past two months I have spent all my time working on improving iBlackjack. Lots of effort has gone into creating a great new polished game. A game that really reflects well of the iPhone/iPod Touch platform. I think it looks great now and I can’t wait to get it into everyone’s hands ASAP. Until then, here is a screenshots of the game as it stands today.

Asr calculation methods
iAthan has both standard (Imam Shafi’, Hanbali, Maliki) as well as Hanafi method.

Qibla Direction
Did you know that magnetic compasses are incorrect and cannot be trusted for getting the direction of Kabah? This is because the magnetic field changes and does not point to the TRUE North. iAthan/iAdhan/iAzan gives you an accurate direction of the Qibla based on True North as well as the relative direction from the current position of the Sun or the Moon in the sky.

Volume Settings
Set a different volume for individual prayers! Want Fajr athan to be louder than Asr (when you’re at work)? No problem. iAthan/iAdhan/iAzan lets you set volume for individual prayers to adapt your surroundings and circumstances.

Adjust individual prayer times
You can adjust prayer times individually by adding/subtracting minutes to each prayer time

Super Pong v0.61

Super Pong is a fun and very quick block-blasting pong game. You can move the paddle by either tilting the iPhone left and right, or by dragging your finger along the bottom of the screen. The game can be paused by tapping the screen and from there, you can access the settings.

Currently, there are ten levels and three difficulties, which range from fairly easy to incredibly fast and nearly impossible on the harder levels. I like developing games that are fun for all skill levels, so rest assured – it’s a good challenge.

At the moment, it is purely a block-busting game. However, there are many many things in the works for future updates.
