The Last Coho (NDS Game)

The Last Coho is inspired by the artwork of the First Nations in the American Pacific North West. The Coho is a type of salmon common in this area of world. These salmon return every year to the rivers of the Pacific North West and have to struggle up stream to reach the spawning grounds. However, our hero “The Last Coho” was left behind and now must make it up stream before the river freezes for the winter, meanwhile fighting against currents and obstacles and avoiding the many predators along the way.

Jack and the Beanstalk (Build 53) (A2600 Game)

atari2600land has posted an update of his Atari 2600 homebrew game “Jack and the Beanstalk” which is based upon a fairy tale with the same name.

Release notes from atari2600land:

Changed the score font. This version temporarily has the new font in red at the title screen (this will not be in the final version, it’s there just for a test.) Since Greensleeves is playing in the first level, I tried to go with a sort of Elizabethian font. How did I do?

Jomtris is a “tetris” style of casual game. You handle and remove dropping 4-tile pieces as long as possible and that’s it. One game session should take max 5-10 minutes.

The playing field is vertical 10×20 square field, there are different 4-tile pieces dropping down from top and you have to fit them nicely at the bottom. All full rows are removed, to give you some more space to arrange tiles.

New: Screen rotation support: portrait <-> landscape
New: Pause game: press number zero
New: All seven diff pieces drop in random groups of 7
New: Settings game start level: faster w/more points
