The New 8-bit Heroes (NES misc)

Joe Granato is currently raising money via Kickstarter to get “The New 8-bit Heroes” alive. It will be a brand new NES game and while he is already at it, there will be a short documentary movie of it as well. The campaign is running for about another three weeks, so maybe you would like to support it.

Tumulus (r30) (A2600 Game)

In Tumulus by yllawwally you are an adventurer, out to stop the fiends coming from Tumulus. This game is inspired by Golden Axe.

Changes/Notes:

;1 line of player is discolored
;tree doesn’t damage player
;make dragon not move

;when you kill a monster on lane 3, the screen flickers for a moment
;Skyline is messed up, when monsters on screen, need to adjust color palette

L’Abbaye des Morts v1.3.1.1 (Wii Game Port)

Locomalito‘s game L’Abbaye des Morts ported to Wii by carstene1ns! The gameplay is directly inspired by Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy.

Story:

In the 13th century, the Cathars, who preach about good Christian beliefs, were being expelled by the Catholic Church out of the Languedoc region in France.

One of them, called Jean Raymond, found an old church in which to hide, not knowing that beneath its ruins lay buried an ancient evil.

GpAlice (04-07-2014) (GP32 Game)

The GP32 is not yet dead, which is also courtesy of Orion_. GpAlice is a cute looking platform game where you need to collect fruits and gems, but avoid peaks. Mushrooms let you either shrink or grew in size, which will give all the gameplay a tiny twist.

ZXDS v1.3.1 (Spectrum emu for NDS)

ZXDS is an emulator of Sinclair ZX Spectrum for Nintendo DS, written by Patrik Rak. It is steadily reaching a mature stage of development, and it already has some noteworthy features, like accurate emulation of Spectrum 48k, 128k and Pentagon models (including sound), or support for TAP/TZX/PZX tape files, TRD/SCL disk files and RZX playback files.

* Fix the initial main screen palette which could get messed up on some cards.
* Make the mouse help window look like all the other help windows.
