Mega Q*bert by Jaklub is a fan adaptation of the popular arcade title for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. The title has 2 modes – Mega mode with 80 new different levels to beat and an Arcade mode, which is based on NES Q*bert (which in turn is based on the original game). Both modes allow simultaneous cooperative play.

In this game, you are an explorer from the year 2050. Much of the world’s rainforests have been logged, leading to the discovery of a large temple constructed by ancient civilizations eons ago. You are among the first to be allowed to explore it.
The entrance to this temple is across a long stone bridge, which you have chosen to drive across. Inside the temple you find a golden idol on a stone pedestal. Although you are supposed to leave everything you find, your greed gets the better of you and you remove the idol from where it has sat for thousands of years.
Suddenly, the ground begins to shake. Bricks fall from the ceiling. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea! You run outside just as the entrance caves in. As you get in your car and drive away, you realize that the bridge’s supports have dislodged and it’s all collapsing behind you! There’s no time to think – just drive!

The author claims to have a working game engine with platform collisions and a lot of art. glutock is working on a NES RPG called Tattoo Apprentice. You’re a young tattoo artist, trying to become a famous one. Starting in a small country village, being an apprentice in a small tattoo shop. Classic RPG-battles are replaced by timed tattooing challenges, and you have to manage your own promotion, visiting bars, clubs, … and manage your stock (ink, needles, tattoo guns, …). fMSX is an MSX home computer emulator. It will run software written for MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ computers. Before running fMSX, make sure you place the following MSX system ROMs onto your SD card: MSX.ROM MSX2.ROM MSX2EXT.ROM DISK.ROM.
