Stratagus is a free cross-platform real-time strategy gaming engine. It includes support for playing over Internet/LAN, or playing vs. computer opponents. The engine is configurable and can be used to create games with a wide-range of features specific to your needs.

Stratagus started as a clone of the realtime fantasy strategy game Warcraft II from Blizzard Entertainment, although it is used now as a game engine to build other games, sci-fi or fantasy ones.

PanLink is an open source clone of the puzzle game LinLink. You have to pair up pictures following rules similar to Mahjong.

PanLink was forked from llk_linux in January 2013, which seems to be abandoned since 2005. First release is v2.4 and based on the 2.3beta1 source code of llk_linux. Major changes are optimizations for fitting the OpenPandora screen, stripping and rewriting some incompatible or deprecated code and replacing artwork with unclear licensing.

Openbox is a highly configurable, next-generation Window Manager, written by Dana Jansens and Mikael Magnusson. This PND will install it, and add it as an option in the Switch GUI dialog box. Openbox offers fast execution and low resource-usage, and has been configured so you can easily launch PNDs, get online, and use Pandora-friendly keyboard shortcuts.

Release notes:

This new version (4) automates the install and seperates each program into it’s own ipk – there’s 10 in total, but the maximum size of the complete install is still only about 3 megs (this PND is bigger because it also contains Nitrogen).

Monster Management Security Bureau of Cincinnati 2 (M.M.S.B.C. II) is a brand new Atari 2600 homebrew game from theloon ,creator of Nitebear on Sleepystreet.

M.M.S.B.C. II is a two player cooperative game. The objective is to rack up as many points as possible – which also means both players surviving as long as possible. RESET will reset game. SELECT will toggle between 3 difficulty levels: NORMAL, HARD and MANIAC. Each players FIRE button will launch a laser. Once a salvo has been launched no additional lasers can be fired from your ship. Lasers will damage and pass through enemies. Each player has a shield bar at the bottom left (player 1) and right (player 2) side of the screen. If too much damage is taken from collisions with enemies or fire then the player will be forced to land. Landing reduces the cities morale (topmost status bar). If morale drops to zero the game is over. At certain periods during the game a boss will appear shooting fireballs. Once the boss is defeated gameplay will resume at a higher difficulty level.

Cataclysm is a post-apocalyptic roguelike, set in the countryside of New England after a devastating plague of monsters and zombies. Ported to Pandora by ptitSeb.

Cockatrice by Max-Wilhelm Bruker is an open-source multiplatform software for playing card games, such as Magic: The Gathering, over a network. It is fully client-server based to prevent any kind of cheating, though it supports single-player games without a network interface as well. Both client and server are written in Qt 4. Cockatrice is fully GPL licensed and thus free software. Ported to Pandora by Canseco.
