Image provided by: arogDidou has released a Volfied style game for the Nintendo DS. Volfied is originally a classic arcade game developed by Taito in the late 80’s. The game is very similar to an early game called Qix — you take control of an object whose purpose is roam the screen, closing rectangles and removing them from the playfield. Drugwars has been updated again. The changes: 8/12/2005 – Version 1.04 has been posted. This fixes a few things with music as well as gives you more options for the music. I also tweaked the interface some more.

Well, it’s not terribly deep just yet. It’s essentially a little ‘Tanx’ clone, using cute 2D vector graphics – and requires two players otherwise it’s a bit dull (no AI yet). Player one uses the Dpad to move and aim the turret, and holds left trigger for power (think Worms’ Bazooka). Player two uses the face buttons on the other side, and right trigger for power. Simply try and hit each other with the shells…
