MobileTetris is currently in beta development. It’s in a very playable state right now, but there are still many more features to add!
nervegas, author of NES.app, a very sweet and advanced NES emulator for iPhone’s is looking for help:
Call for Developers: I’ve been struggling to fix InfoNES’ broken PPU scrolling code. I’m looking for other developers with experience in NES emulation who would be willing to take a look at the code. Please contact me at nervegas(at)natetrue.com. I will be releasing a new project, NESCore, shortly, which is a portable NES emulation core (LGPL) based on pNESx, only with many fixes from the original code…
There has been another message about the WIP status of iPhone MAME.
OK we’re back in business!
Let’s see when there will be “more detailed” news.
iFlickr is a native application for iPhone’s to access and use the service “Flickr”.
If you are sure to have the v1.02 iPhone Firmware on your baby, then you can UNLOCK it easily without hardware modification. Just follow the instruction on the linked page. Of course everything at your own personal risk.
The software itself is LEGAL and considering that there are no commercial iPhone games yet, it will just enable you to try out homebrew stuff. We believe there is no economical damage at this time of posting.
There are some disappointing news about the iPhone MAME port, but read on:
Eh, I’m just gonna wait until the latest toolchain issues are sorted out before working on this anymore. It’s too much of a hassle to keep up with at the moment.

Changes:
Tagging.
Auto rotation of photos on flickr.
Improved performance over EDGE. Now you can take a few pictures and minimize the application. It takes its time to upload over EDGE, and updates the number of pictures it is processing over the iflickr icon (The application now runs in background, and exits when it is finished uploading all the pictures)
Books.app is a simple eBook reader for the iPhone. It reads HTML and text files stored in your Media/EBooks folder, and is smart enough to enter subdirectories, if, for instance, you’ve broken a book down by chapters.
Changes:
Bug fixes! Books.app is now completely bug-free, and all features requested by users have been implemented. In addition, world peace has been achieved, Apple has announced that it’s open-sourcing the iPhone, and my children got A’s on their last report cards. Well, okay, that last one was an exaggeration.

Changes:
Faster loading of files, and long files shouldn’t kill the program anymore.
View images from the file browser! Only JPG or PNG for the moment. Still no in-line image viewing. Sorry.
Rearrange your SpringBoard from your iPhone. This application allows you to rearrange the icons on your springboard without having to connect to your mac (or pc) and load up iFuntastic (or similar programs).
