Have a quick glance at this opening screen and you may believe you’re in for a hack and slash adventure treat involving a dungeon, monsters, and big swords. Actually you’d almost be right – there is a dungeon (complete with lots of invisible walls), your character has a big sword (although he doesn’t do much hacking or slashing with it), but unfortunatly there are no monsters. Or treasure. In fact there’s very little evidence of a temple.

Woogal released an update status to the port of Quake to the GP32. Thanks to GP32Spain for the news.
Posted By: woogalDate: 2005-02-05 03:05Summary: 0.6 status updateWhat was going to be a quick update to just add cd music emulation is now well on the way to becoming a proper 0.6 release. Before I release I’m going to try my best to get saved games working correctly and add zlib support (for .gz pak files). The following are already added/fixed – disappearing save/load list, cd emulation (11khz, 8bit, mono wav files), console commands that work with files (eg map), extra optimisation variables (r_fastsky and r_fastturb), demo playback.

Synkro gave me a hint about a german computer magazine called Man!ac. They had a short article about the currently running PD Roms coding competition and wrote some untrue stuff. Please do NOT submit your entries as cartridge or CD 🙂 A binary or ISO is really enough 🙂
It’s nice that my compo made it into a printmag, but sometimes I wonder who is writing articles without having a closer look… 🙂
This is release 10 of mic’s GBA emulator for Windows, the aptly named Gebea. Check out the Gebea website for info and downloads.
