Hololore by Angelilyworks is a homebrew demo game made for Game Boy with GB studio.

Hololore is a fanmade narrative adventure game. Hoshimachi Suisei, one of Tokyo’s known singers, is informed by her promoter of a disturbance, one that could disrupt the daily lives of Tokyo citizens. Somehow, newcomer star Hoshinova Moona and rabbit CEO Usada Pekora get tangled into misunderstandings, and a journey of friendships. Find out the cause between the disturbance and discover the secrets to amend the casualties and bring peace again.

Fruit Pursuit by Dave VanEe has been recently published for the Nintendo Game Boy (Color).

Fruit Pursuit is a match 3 game about collecting fruit in a race to the finish!

There are three game modes available:

• Race: Complete laps by collecting enough of each fruit to advance, competing for a high score.
• Timed: Play for 6 minutes, trying to get the highest score you can in that time.
• Sprint: See how quickly you can reach a score of 200,000.

Match fruit to reach the goal for each lap, while keeping the time bar from running out! Press A to lock the cursor and use the dpad to choose the swap direction.

Every lap will have a shiny fruit, indicated by the “x2” beside it on the right side of the screen (and by 2 stars below it at the start of each lap). Matching the shiny fruit gives double points. When falling fruit leads to additional matches, these are called “passes” and each subsequent pass doubles the points awarded!

Pressing the B button will use a wrench and briefly flash all possible matches. New wrenches are awarded every 100,000 points.

When there are no moves available the grid will clear and a bonus will be awarded.

When the timer runs out the game is over.

Tir Na Nog by Rajcsányi László is a role playing, homebrew game created with GB Studio.

In the game, you control Cuchulain, who left the world of the living to enter Tír Na Nóg (a place of eternal happiness). Your task is to assemble the pieces for Calum’s seal. You can walk through the land of Tír Na Nóg, to various doors, cave entrances and paths you can find. These will be revealed during gameplay. If you opened a door and you have obtained the key for it, you will be able to enter it during the entire game time. Calum’s seal requires taking 2 items to the gates of Tír Na Nóg then put it in the chest there to complete your mission.​

Lava Boy by edenev is a adventure-puzzler made with GB Studio.

The story of the game is cozy and cute. You move around in each level, digging and finding puzzles. Unlock each gate of different levels and clear the game.

Simple Space Shooter by recleun is an endless space game made for PICO-8.

This game is very similar to other space shooter games. Move around with ‘arrow’ keys and ‘z’ to shoot. Avoid the obstacles and collect points, there’s no limit so you can play as long as you like.

Schildm8 by AlterHowdegen is a PICO-8 space shooter game made for the “Basic Shmup Showcase“.

To play this game, you need to focus on the following important points:

• Fire (O) with regular weapon with X, EX equipment.
• To activate the shield you need to touch an enemy’s projectile.
• You can collect enemy projectiles while the shield is up to power up, chain kill enemies to extend shield duration. Once the shield runs out you are in danger.
• As long as the shield is active the multiplier goes up, enabling higher scores and more damage output .
• Every time you defeat the boss enemies will become stronger and new stage layouts and powerful enemies are introduced. ​

Gravity Well by Xietanu is an action game made for the PICO-1K Jam 2022.

The game features an infinite gravity tunnel, where you move around horizontally using ‘arrow’ keys to avoid oncoming blocks. Falling close to obstacles increases your heartrate as indicated by amplitude of the the pulse in the bottom right. As you fall, you’ll get faster and obstacles will get more frequent. Use ‘dodge’ (Z) to hastily move out of the way (recharges after use) and use ‘dive’ (X) to accelerate faster down for more points and more danger. ​

1k Space Doors by SkyBerron is an arcade shooter made for PICO-1K Jam 2022.

The goal of the game is quite simple. You move your spaceship in a vast, abstract space. Avoid all the oncoming rocks and doors that would smash you in a second. It is an endless space, so score as high as possible.

Juggle Cat by Altrix Studios is an arcade game made for the PICO-1K Jam.

It is a simple juggling game where you move the juggle cat with ‘arrow’ keys and constantly bounce the white balls to keep them in the air, while avoiding the red bombs. Watch out for your lives, you’re only given five chances. The developer himself has challenged the players, that whether you can beat his high score of 46 or not? ​
