Goomba Paletted v2.36 (RC1) (GB emu for GBA)

Goomba is a Gameboy emulator for the Gameboy Advance. Beyond the advantage of being able to store many games on one cart, Goomba also includes save states and customizable borders. At least, Kuwanger’s fork does. Also available are many palettes, along with the ability to make your own. This feature has lead to the creation of a small gallery, for your viewing pleasure, see http://kuwanger.net/gallery/

Release notes:

Note, this is a release candidate (ie, I’m pretty sure it should work properly). With some help from dantheman, I’ve been able to verify how the Supercard resets back to its menu. Knowing that, I’ve decided to update visoly.s to support exiting for visoly (aka f2a), ez4, and Supercard. I’ve tested this change and it works on the ez4. I would like some people with visoly cards–especially pogoshell users–and some supercard users to verify that this will indeed exit properly. If so, the visoly.s in the source code should be directly usable in smsadvance, cologne, and pocketnes to properly support exiting on the three types of cards.

libdolfs (Initial Version) (Wii misc)

libdolfs is a library for accessing a read-only ramdisk (attached to a .dol at compile-time) as though it were a regular filesystem. It provides a convenient way to include support data with an executable, esp. when porting some code where you don’t want to change the underlying core to add an alternative to fread()… or when using psoload without an SD card.

This initial release does not support directory access, but does allow long filenames.

Video Poker (28-09-2009) (R 2) (A2600 Game)

atari2600land updated his “Video Poker” game.

Release notes:

Now it plays more like it’s supposed to: you can pick cards to keep and redeal. I haven’t added any pair, flush or straight recognition yet. You’ll notice when you start a new game, the score briefly turns red for a frame or so. Is there any way to tell what that number that is? I can’t seem to time it right to pause it in Stella.

Atomic Meltdown (28-09-2009) (R2) (A2600 Game)

A nuclear reactor core stabilizer and containment field has failed unexpectedly and you, the technician, have to manually stabilize the atomic matter until containment field can be initialized. The containment walls will start enclosing around the atomic matter as the containment field is brought back online. However because the containment field is down, other random atomic matter is being project around the reactor core. The manual stabilizers have not been calibrated on schedule so they do not stabilize the atomic matter correctly which has resulted in the atomic matter to jitter around. If two pieces of atomic matter collide or if the atomic matter collides with the walls before the containment field has been initialized, then the whole nuclear reactor wild explode.
