Bears stole your Picnic by Powersaurus is a short, action game built for PICO-1k Jam 2022. In the game, your food is stolen by some bears, when you come back after a short round in the woods. Play the game using arrow keys to navigate the woods and grab all 5 stolen items – lemonade, cheese sandwich, crisps and apple before the bears get you, stealing it all back and you have to start again. The longer you take, the more bears will arrive to pinch on your food.

As the developer says, “This game is fairly janky. The depth sorting is rudimentary and glitches when you move quickly. In addition, there’s the very visible fisheye effect. I’m really pleased with the trees, given the space, and happy I managed to fit sound in at all.”​

Senseless City by Rani Baker is a very fresh new homebrew game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) / Famicom.

At the beginning of the game, you can choose between two characters, which determines the music, graphics and color pallette of the puzzles going forward. So it’s almost like two different games!.. just with the same puzzles.

Skazka SMS by StevePro Studios is Sega Master System game, released earlier in March 2022.

This game is a RPG adventure, which features a character hero, who saves the land from a devastating evil monster. The graphics of the game are simply marvelous, toched with vibrant colors and smooth animation. There are many options to update your inventory items and select different categories. Make your way through the path to the Skazka castle, kill all the enemies and bring back victory! ​

1k Basketball Challenge by SkyBerron is a timed basketball shooting game. Where you play as a random player, throwing balls in limited time (displayed at the top center of the screen) and scoring as much as possible. This game is made in 1024 compressed bytes of code for PICO-1K Jam 2022.​

wave h1ker by Robin Field is survival, surfing game. The game features a small rabbit surfing on the sea waves, constantly moving and jumping across the incoming fishes and blocks. Your objective in the game is to collect as many stars as possible without losing your life. Watch out of the blocks and other small creatures, surf and make your way out of the sea.

Skazka MD by StevePro Studios is RGP adventure game originally written in BASIC for the Sega SC-3000 in March 2022, now this game has been ported to Sega Mega Drive/ Genesis respectively. It is a unique platform game that combines the best elements of action and adventure.

In this game, you will face an evil monster who wants to rule the world. He wants to capture all of the magical creatures and turn them into his servants. If he reaches his goal, there will be no hope left for humans and animals. To stop him, you must travel across the kingdom and defeat each terrible monster on the way. You can buy items from the village shops, select different categories and enhance your skills. When you’re ready, kill the enemy and bring back victory.

Cold Sun Surf by AndyMakes is a dark, spaced themed game where you have to collect as much money as you can before you are sucked into the terrible dark sun. Along with the money, you need fuel as well to survive. You cannot fly if you run out of it. If your body dies, you will keep the treasures. The screen indicates a fuel tank bar and a dollar icon which tells you how much fuel is left and how much money you have collected.

Cargo-1k by NMcCoy is a simple space trading game created for the PICO-1k Jam 2022.

The main goal of the game is to get 10,000 credits in as minimum trades as possible. You can fly around, buy and sell different items . The following buttons are used to control the player:

• Left/Right: Steer
• Up/Down: Thrust/Brake
• X/Z: Buy and sell
