Kripto just wanted to officially announce that he is currently developing a 100% free, fully playable version of the 2600 game Adventure, but experienced from a full 3D, first person perspective.

It’s pretty far in development and will be playable on-line in your browser, in addition to as a downloadable application for both Mac, PC and possibly iPhone. It includes all of the objects and enemies from the original Adventure in their original roles with some twists. More updates, screenshots and betas/release information to follow.

KidPaddle, author of Blockoid, a brakout style game, posted some work in progress news.

STPPC2x is a GP2X port of Simon Tatham’s Portable Puzzle Collection, a set of 27 addictive logic and puzzle games.

This beta has 21 fully-working games, the rest are in various states but only two are completely unplayable on the GP2X – Mines and Pegs.

Feedback is appreciated (especially from F-200 and USB mouse users) and full source code is available from Ledow’s website.

A custom Wii channel created by Team Twiizers, the same people responsible for the Twilight Hack. It allows homebrew to be run from the SD card in a similar fashion to the Twilight Hack, but from the Wii menu, so is more convenient. Currently the Wii Homebrew Channel available for public release is a beta. Currently it allows ten minutes of usage before expiring. Once the channel has expired, it cannot be reinstalled, so it’s suggested you use the allocated ten minutes wisely.

Installation:

Assuming the Twilight Hack is already installed on your Wii;

Download the installer from the section below.
Place the installer file on the root of your SD card.
Rename the file to boot.elf
Run the Twilight Hack, and allow the installer to load.
READ THE DISCLAIMER! In the very unlikely case your Wii should be bricked by the installer, this will let you know where you stand in regards to Team Twiizers.
Press the RESET button on your Wii.
The installation should be automatic from this point on, and your Wii will reboot.

Askot and dsbomb updated the GameCube’s SNES9x port, for your emulated Super Nintendo Entertainment gaming pleasure.
