PSPrank – Hidden Menu (PSP Application)

Here is a description from the author:

Thats Right, This program is called PSPrank – Hidden Menu.

REASON WHY: The reason why I built this program is because I would downgrade so many peoples psp’s that 3 people would come to me every week say “Fix my psp” and everytime its they were messing with something they didn’t check out first.I’ve gotten many suggestions from Onehitgamer.com Forum members and I think that This is a solid first release for this program. This is program is ment to trick people into thinking they have messed up there psp, which in fact they havn’t, all because I want to teach people that they need to start researching stuff and learning about the psp community before they seriously mess there psp up.

WHAT THE PROGRAM DOES: This program in named Hidden Menu in the game menu, Of course to bring curiosity to the subject. When they run the program they will be greeted with a Disclaimer Message To “Press X to continue or Press R to Exit” (R doesn’t Exit, It still goes on,Same As if you hit X). Then a loading screen will come up for a second and then they shall be greeted by An ERROR screen with a bunch of hex coding (just to mainly confuse them), [after half a second] then It will go directly to a searching for errors screen in which they will see “!!! ERROR !!!” next to a bunch of Flash0 Files. Then go to a R.S.O.D (Red Screen Of Death) for about 2 seconds (just to let them read it lol) then the screen will suddenly go black for 3 seconds.
Now that they think there psp is totally messed up, the PRANKED screen shall come up and tell them “To research items before trying stuff or else this could really happen” with your name and a personalized message from you.

THE COOL PART: With this package I’v included a Program that you run before you put the 2 PSPrank folders on your psp. This program will ask for your Name and a Personalized message from you that will come up at the Pranked Screen.

I would LOVE new ideas and suggestions for this. I plan on making many different versions of PSPrank. So ENJOY!

Taskbar Notifier v0.7 (iPhone Application)

This iPhone application adds a small envelope icon in the taskbar when you have an unread email message and a small speech bubble when you have an unread SMS message. It is useful for reminding you from anywhere within the iPhone user interface that you have an unread message, even if you have previously pressed the “Ignore” button. This includes the lock screen.

Yes! You can finally check your email from the lock screen (assuming you have your email set to auto check)

After the initial blue popup when an SMS message is received, the only place in the UI in which you are reminded of the unread message is the home screen, which as we all know is not where you spend the majority of your time!

This application is possibly even more useful for email because you’re never actually notified of these anywhere other than the home screen.

Changes:

taskbar-notifier 0.7 (Now only checks your inbox 🙂 once again, slightly polished icons)

VDrum v1.5 (PSP Application)

VDrum is a drum kit simulator game for PSP. It is unlike other drum machines currently out in that each drum is controlled by a different button and is not set up on a time line like PSPRythm and PSPKick. It is currently in its early stages.

Visualboy Advance v1.7.2 (GBA emu for GC)

Visual Boy Advance is a GameBoy Mono, Color and GameBoy Advance emulator for the Nintendo Wii/GameCube. This “demo” version was originally included in SoftDev’s implementation of a the TinyFAT filesystem for SD card read/write functions on the Nintendo GameCube. The demo also shows how to implement virtual memory in your applications, which in this instance is used to store the ROM data in.

The demo only came in sourcecode format. Well, TehSkeen is proud to present it in it’s fully compiled and operational form. Please read the documentation included in the archive for detailed directions on how to use this emulator. Please note it does require the use of a GC -> SD card adapter.

Thanks to brakken / http://www.tehskeen.net for the news.

iPhone Firmware v1.1.1 (iPhone Firmware)

Apple has released a firmware update for iPhone’s which is available via iTunes.

Please keep in mind updating your homebrew enabled v1.02 iPhone will kind of brick it, be sure to NOT update unless required – or follow different instructions to bring your iPhone back to factory-fresh settings. In case of updating, your iPhone wont be able to use homebrew apps anymore!
