ZXDS v0.6.0 (Beta 1) (Spectrum emu for NDS)

ZXDS is an upcoming emulator of Sinclair ZX Spectrum for Nintendo DS, written by Patrik Rak. It is still in an early stage of development, but it already has some noteworthy features, like accurate emulation of Spectrum 128k (including sound) or TAP/TZX/PZX support.

Exult PSP v2.1.8 (PSP misc)

This is a port of Exult to the Playstation Portable platform, a framework that allows you to play Ultima VII: The Black Gate / Forge of Virtue as well as Serpent Isle / The Silver Seed.

Changes:

A small update, with much requested inverted run/walk and some bug fixes. ๐Ÿ™‚

MAME GP2X v4.8 (Arcade emu for GP2x)

Franxis has updated MAME GP2x, a multiple arcade machine emulator for GP2x.

Changes:

– Some GP2X F-100 MK1 consoles do not like the 120hz LCD refresh rate (the screen gets bright). The 120hz mode is only activated now if the VSync option is activated. Thx, damned, for the report.
– Other minor optimizations and bug-fixes.
– Added a new game: Donkey Kong Factory (US) (dkongex). Thanks to Budbud.
– Integrated the source code of the PSP port done by TTYman.

PSPGGO v1.1.0 (Slim) (PSP Game)

For those who haven’t seen previous releases, GNU-Go is an ASCII command line GO game running on MacOS X, Windows and many Unix systems.

PSP-GGO is a port of latest version 3.6 of GNU-Go with an added graphical user interface by ZX-81.

Changes:

– Now compatible with custom firmwares 3.x and PSP-slim
– New user interface and new graphics
– Add a simple intro splash screen
– Support iso8859-1 fonts in print text functions
(might be useful to translate menus in german, french …)
– Bug fix in the file requester

FullColor Compo 2007 (GB misc)

Dicewars DS v0.4.0 (NDS Game)

Dicewars DS is a multiplayer version of a popular Flash based strategy game Dicewars for Nintendo DS handheld console.

Your task is to conquer the whole game field by rolling dice. Each turn you may attack any opponent’s territory from one of your adjacent territories as long as your territory has more than one die on it. When attacking, If you roll more than the defender, you win. At the end of each turn, the greatest number of adjoining territories you have is calculated, and you are awarded a bonus of that number of dice, which are placed randomly on your territory.

In the network game mode you will need at least 2 players to start a game. The player starting up the game will decide the minimum and maximum amount of players. If the players wish to start the game before waiting for maximum amount of players, the rest of the slots will be filled with CPU players.

iPhone Firmware v1.1.1 jailbroken? (iPhone misc)

Here are some interesting news:

Finally! Engadget has confirmed that we have read/write access on the root partition for both the iTouch and iPhone 1.1.1 via the tiff exploit!

Update: We are currently working on a complete exploit rolled into one tiff. We hope to release soon, if we don’t pass out from lack of sleep, that is. Please check back for more news and don’t forget to donate!
