Epiphany v0.7.0.1 (Pandora Game Port)

Epiphany is a clone of Boulderdash. The player must collect all valuable minerals scattered in levels, avoiding being hit by a falling boulder, or (worst) by a bomb. Original game by Giuseppe D’Aqui and Giuseppe Martino, ported by mcobit.

Powder v116.0.0.0 (Pandora Game Port)

POWDER is a Rogue-like game, which is not a port of an existing Rogue-like. It is built around re-playability and long term ergonomics, not short term learning. Author of this piece of software is Jeff Lait.

Changes:

* Updated to Version 116
* Should now work in MiniMenu
* There are some Warnings on run, but I have yet to experience a problem; if you do please leave a comment =)

PNDstore v1.0.3.0 (Pandora Application)

PNDstore is an essential application for all Pandora users! It acts as “store” system for many Pandora related things such as games, emulators and applications. The system is easy to use and so it is pretty simple to get more content on your Pandora!

Release notes:

This release is mostly for stability, with almost no UI changes. They’ll come eventually.
– Adds full support for version 3.0 of the repository spec. This allows list updating to be done more efficiently, though the improvements are likely not noticeable to humans
– Properly scans all appropriate directories for PNDs, including pandora/mmenu
– Ctrl+Q shortcut closes the GUI
– Will fail gracefully when encountering network connectivity errors, rather than acting like it’s working

Stella (03-10-2011) (SVN) (A2600 emu for Pandora)

Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). The Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS), introduced in 1977, was the most popular home video game system of the early 1980’s. Now you can enjoy all of your favorite Atari 2600 games on your Pandora device thanks to Stella!

Release notes:

This is just a quick port to the Pandora of the current (20111003) SVN-version. No bios-file or similar data is needed to run the emulator. This version does not use hardware-acceleration and does not run PAL-games, but it should work fine with NTSC-games and still should be fast enough to run at standard speed. You also can pass a rom-name to the run.sh-script for example by using /usr/pandora/scripts/pnd_run.sh. run pnd_run.sh without any parameter for a short description.

Alice in Clicheland v1.0.0.1 (Pandora Game Port)

Alice in Clicheland is a game set on a fantasy world, where two dimensions coexist. Those dimensions were separated by a great hero during Primordial War. For some reason, though, the seal that used to keep the dimensions apart was broken, chaining a new war, as Dark Clicheland’s beings tried to invade the human world: Clicheland.

Ported to Pandora by mcobit.

They Do Not Die 2 v0.6 (Game)

They Do Not Die 2 by ThatOtherDev is a successor of “They Do Not Die”. A top-down Zombie shooter with simple graphics.

Changes:

* Added on screen text showing the highest number of zombies you have ever killed before dieing (if you pass that high score then the new number will get saved when you die).
* You can now play with up to four people (it was previously limited to two).
* The position and size of the health and energy bars during multiplayer has changed.
* There are now four different kinds of wooden crates (the differences are only cosmetic).
* Menu text is larger and the title looks better.
* Game saving and loading is even faster.

GCMM MOD (R11) (Application)

PabloACZ has released GCMM r11 MOD, a modification of the original GCMM found at WiiBrew. It’s a memory card manager for Wii and/or GameCube.

Changes:

SDGetFileList() function in sdsupp.c updated to reflect the changes in DevKitPPC/libogc from the last three years (diropen, dirnext and dirclose commands were replaced with opendir, readdir and closedir, respectively).
Modified the MountCard() function in mcard.c to perform a probe on the GC Memory Card slot, to make sure it was mounted properly.
Improved the compatibility with GCS/SAV files with the patch posted by jcwitzel in December 2009.
The Makefiles were modified to include the zlib in the libraries section. It seems that the latest libFreeType PPC port needs it to work.
*Hopefully* Added compatibility with Official GameCube Memory Cards (see this). According to a friend of mine, it works with a 256 blocks Memory Card.
Compiled with DevKitPPC r24, libogc 1.8.8, libfat 1.0.10 and libFreetype 2.4.2.
